(Reuters) – The company said on Wednesday that the self -driving unit in Amazon.com has called for 258 vehicles due to the problems related to the ADS, which may cause an unexpected solid.
The summons affects vehicles equipped with advertising program versions that were released before November 5, according to a report submitted to Zoox with the National Road Traffic Safety Administration last week.
The California -based company said it had addressed the problem by updating the advertising program on the affected vehicles.
Although the company did not publicly reveal the number of vehicles on the road, the tests increased during the past year.
Last June, the company announced plans to start testing its independent cars in two new cities.
Self -driving vehicle companies, including Cruise’s General Motors and Google -owned Waymo, are undergoing the increasing audit after the 2023 incident, where one of the infantry was seriously injured by a marine car.
Last year, Waymo recalled more than 670 self -driving vehicles after a driver without a driver, hit a wooden pole in Phoenix, Arizona.
