In the episode “The X-Files” “Sein Und Zeit” (February 6, 2000), Muller (David Dusovny) is investigating a strange kidnapping case in Sacramento, California. It seems that a little girl named Amber (Megan Corletto) has been kidnapped recently, and left the kidnapper in the threatened observation. Note includes a strange signal to Santa Claus. The strange part: It seems that the observation was written by the mother of Amber, Billy Mitchell, until he believed that Billy claims that he has no memory of her writing. Muller seems to remember a case from 1987 with a similar mo in the old case, the mother was convicted of kidnapping her child, and a similar note was found in the mother’s hand, which also contains a signal to Santa Claus, at the scene.

Muller begins to doubt that mothers in both cases were having a kind of kind of kind. This affects Molds personally, as his mother wrote a similar note at the time of his sister’s disappearance when they were children. Muller must also deal with the fact that his mother has taken her life unexpectedly. It is clear that he uses the kidnapping issue as a way to deal with the death of his mother and the disappearance of his 27 -year -old sister. By the end of the episode, Mold will remove himself from the case, knowing that he was not able to investigate well. (Remember that He left Muller after the seventh season of the show))
It is an exciting and frustrating episode that came late in the show. “Sein Und Zeit” also features a strange accident during filming. It seems that a crew – his name was not revealed – left one of the stent notes in the phone booth wrongly. When they returned to recover, they were arrested for kidnapping. Local policemen apparently found the observation, and they thought it was real. The accident was described in the book All things: The official guide for “X-Files”, Volume 6 “ By Mac Shapiro.

The pillar ransom note was taken from the X files seriously by the authorities
The accident seemed innocent enough. The member of the staff concerned, as the episode director, Kim Maners, remembered him, was holding a large file folder around the group, and it contained all the pillars kidnapping messages that had to be used in the episode. Then they went to a paid phone to make a call (this was in 2000, before the mobile phones were everywhere), and they left the file behind it. The episode was filmed in Altadena, California, a city in Los Angeles Province, north of Pasadina, and it appears that a resident of Altadena was closely watching a member of the “X-Files” crew. It is somewhat doubtful that a strange person leaves a large file folder in the phone booth.

The locality called the policemen, and found a false ransom note. When a crew member returned to the file folder he left behind, he was arrested. One can imagine Kerfuffles that followed, and how someone in the production office had to explain to Altadena Police that note the ransom was already a pillar. The crew member was apparently released, and there is no longer the matter.
“Und Zeit”, named after existential work by Martin Heidegger, ended in an impressive and dark way. Ultimately, it will be revealed that the kidnapping was not a revenge spirit, but rather the professional actor of Santa Claus who was kidnapping and killing children for decades. Mold’s mother took her private life because she was dying due to deadly bone cancer, and not because of anything supernatural. The kidnapped children were not safely detained in a world of spirit, but they were killed. Mulced, the audience, had to learn sadness. Duchovny left the width, but so far, It always opens to return.

Fortunately, the strong episode was not affected by the arrest of a member of the poor crew. It is unforgettable, but it is very frustrated To consider the favorite fans.
