The culture of the workplace is not related to motivational stickers and noble task data – it is a reality that is formed by people and systems. This is the message that ANUPAM MITTAL, the founder of Group Group and Shaadi.com, was delivered in a recent LinkedIn post that rapidly sparked conversation across the platform.
“Everyone says,” Culture is everything. “The candidates say:” I am looking for the right culture. “The founders say:” We build a strong culture, “Metal wrote.”
Depending on years of experience, MITTAL presented a striking formula: Culture = Operation Form x Persons’ Strategy. It is a concept based on the idea that both the temple and talent are very important. “If one of them is zero, you have … well, culture 0,” he said.
He explained: “Wonderful systems + broken systems = chaos. Wonderful systems + wrong people = Gridlock. Just when clicking, magic occurs.”
For emerging companies in particular, Metal highlighted what he succeeded for him:
