with FA Cup In the quarter -finals held this weekend, four clubs will reserve their places in Wembley in the semi -finals.

Wembley hosted the last four every year since 2008, as it was stadiums like Old Trafford and Villa Park standing while rebuilding the famous land at the end of the century.

But why is the Wembley Stadium not kept in the conclusion of the competition?

After the drama in the fifth round this week, look for all the recent English FA Cup information here.

The answer is somewhat boring: money. In fact, it was decided again in 2003 – during the construction of the new stadium – that the semi -finals will be organized under the famous arc to help pay the price of the new floor.

Wembley first hosted the semi -finals in the early 1990s, including the Derbes between Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Chaveield United, Cheffild Winzdai.

The last season was witnessed before Wembley was demolished (1999/00) also in the semi -finals in the capital, where Aston Villa and Chelsea prevailed before the Blues repeated the trick in the final.

Now a bit of annual tradition, Wembley hosts a pair of semi -finals on one weekend every season, although it is not without opposition.

First, football owners will argue that Wembley should be saved for the final show event, while there are sometimes geographical factors, especially when the northern sides are paired together.

This year’s draw means that there will be only one actor in London in the last four years, as Crystal Palace took this sidewalk after seeing Fulham in the only quarter -final.

It seems that things are unlikely to change any time soon, since the semi -finals have been organized in Wembley for 18 seasons and counting, especially with filling the land with emotional supporters regardless of the participants.
