“Why did we take drones?” David Warner criticizes India’s delay in Bangaluru; Flying responds

Australian cricket player David Warner expressed his frustration with Air India after he only boarded the plane to discover the lack of any pilots, which led to hours of waiting at Bangaluru Airport on Saturday.

He publicly criticized the airline’s decision to ride passengers without ensuring that the pilot is available. “We have boarded a drone and wait for the plane for hours. Why can you ride passengers knowing that you do not have pilots for the flight?” Warner moved to X to exchange his experience, and interrogated the decision -making process for the airline.

Warner’s delay in the weather -related disorders has attributed. Air India responded to Post Warner X stating that the difficult weather conditions in Bangaluru led to transfers and delay through multiple airlines. This led to the crew suspended a previous mission, causing the departure delay.

“The crew who occupies your journey has been suspended on a previous mission affected by these turmoil, which led to a delay in leaving. We appreciate your patience and thank you for choosing to fly with us,” said Air India. This incident emphasizes the challenges facing airlines in maintaining tables during the harsh weather conditions.

Bangaluru was brought on Saturday, as it criticized the rain, causing water and traffic congestion across several parts. The Ministry of Meteorological in India said that the city of Bangaluru recorded 3.6 mm of rain with thunderstorms from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm.

The shower, accompanied by stormy winds, led to accidents of trees and falling branches in some areas. They also caused temporary disturbances in electricity supplies in parts of the city, while henger storms were reported in places such as Hosakote in the rural Bangaluru area.

The rains also affected flights, as at least 19 flights, including two Airlines, were transferred to other destinations due to weather conditions in Bangaluru.
