Jordan Beckford says Jordan Henderson is “a winner and a great leader” and I am pleased to see him again in the England squad.
Henderson made his first black in 2010, but he had not played with his country since November 2023, after a long period of taking a controversial step from Liverpool to the Saudi Arabian side.
His work period in the Middle East was short -term and joined Ajax in January 2024 and admired Amstersdomers.
It was still a sudden choice when Thomas Tuchail appointed his first team in England last week But Beckford, who came like Henderson, came through the ranks of Sunderland, believed to be a reasonable step.

The experiment will help England – Beckford
He joined Henderson on the team by Newcastle defender Dan Bern and Pickford believes that the presence of some older heads around them cannot benefit from the team only while they are ready to open their campaign to qualify the World Cup with home games against Albania and Latvia.
He added: “We were knocking on the door for a while now.
“It is about the next step now.
“We got the first phone call to Dan Bern, which is a great achievement for him.
“To get these leaders in the place, the more leaders you have in the team, I think the success they will achieve.
“They will lead training standards, they will lead the standards around the place and make it a better camp for everyone.”
