Neal (voiced by Robert Timothy Smith) in “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” He may look like the archetypal “Star Wars” cute mascot character, but the plucky blue alien continues to defy the odds on his way to establishing himself as the franchise’s best player. In Episode 4, titled “I Can’t Say I Remember No in Atlin,” after SM-33 (voiced by Nick Frost) says a favorite saying with surprising meaning, Neil’s bravery saves Wim (Rafi Cabot Conyers), Vern (Ryan Keira Armstrong), and KB (Kyriana Kratter) from certain death. Meanwhile, his pacifism and honesty have managed to impress future Troik clan leader Hayna so thoroughly that his charm may inspire her to become a pacifist ruler – thus potentially ending the cycle of violence that has plagued Atachrann for who knows how long.
Hala Finley played the tough but thoughtful Hayna brilliantly. While it’s still unclear if the character will return in future episodes of “Skeleton Crew,” it’s likely that Neil (and perhaps viewers) will want to see her again. While we wait for that to happen, this is where you may have seen Finley before.
From sitcoms to superhero movies, Hala Finley has seen it all
Hala Finley may be young, but she already has a decade’s worth of roles under her belt. Her first on-screen credits date back to 2014, and in 2016, she scored a really major role in the CBS sitcom “Man with a Plan.” There, Finlay was part of the main cast in the role of Amy Burns, the young daughter of Adam Burns (“Friends” star Matt LeBlanc) and Andy Burns (Lisa Snyder of “Sirens” and “Yes, Dear” fame). He was the young star with the Emmy-nominated multi-camera show throughout its four seasons.
In the years between “Man with a Plan” and “Skeleton Crew,” Finley had small roles in a few projects, such as the Season 4 episode “Remember Me Tomorrow” from NBC’s “Magnum P.I.” reboot and the Robert Rodriguez thriller 2017 2023. Hypnotized.” Notably, she also appeared in 2024 Superhero movie “Venom: The Last Dance” Where you play the role of Echo Moon – a member of the Travelers family who travels with Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy).
