The conflict has historical roots. The state has pursued a policy of both languages ​​and English-since 1968, after decades of protests. The center later confirmed Tamil Nadu that the English language will remain an official language alongside Hindi.

Under the NEP, the Union’s government blocked 2,150 rupees in educational financing under the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan plan, which presses the state to adopt the three language formula. The Federation’s Minister of Education, Darndra Bradhan, said that the money will not be launched only once Tamil Nadu accepts politics “in a message and a spirit.”

Finance Minister Tamil Nadu Thanagham Anarasu said the state would carry the financing gap. Prime Minister MK Stalin Nep described as “Hindutva Policy” designed to marginalize regional languages.

The Federation’s Interior Minister of Amit Shah, speaking in Parliament, faced: “You (DMK) do not have the courage to translate medical and engineering courses in the language of Tamil.” He added: “When we form the government, we will translate medical courses and engineering in Tamil.”

Shah also stated, “Indian does not compete with any national language … Indian is a companion for all Indian languages,” and announced that from December, official correspondence will be implemented in regional languages.

Rajia Sebha returned MP Viko, saying: “Indian has no rules, no literature. It is a harsh language.” Shah was accused of arrogance and expected that “the Bharatia Jatata Party will never constitute the government in Tamil Nadu, to be buried.”
