Foreign Minister Marco Rubio said on Saturday that Washington will cancel all visas that passports hold in South Sudan – and prevent new arrivals – due to the failure of South Sudan to accept the return of its citizens who have returned home. The decision comes at a time when many in Africa fear the renewal of the civil war that killed 400,000 people between 2013 and 2018.
