“We have the most difficult job …”: Gaishhankar says that the West built China while running in India in BT Mindrush

The world we wake up is the world that we went to the bed we believe in. This was the message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs S. Jaishhankar in BT Mindrush, where he put naked for long international dynamics that constitute the perceptions of China and India. In a pointed reflection, he said: “China has always been – not always, but for a long time – a strategic goal from the West … he praised its achievements and history and dragged down the same amount of strategic coercion.”

In a world in which the novels are strength, Jaishankar suggested that India starts from a tougher place – and it must work hard to make its existence perceived.

Speaking at BT Mindrush, Minister of Foreign Affairs S. Jaishankar presented a historical vision of the cognition gap between India and China in the global scene. This was linked to the decisions made until the nineteenth century, during the colonial period. “What happened in the past few years, I think it is the result of what happened about 200 years ago,” said Jayishkar. He explained that while the British systematically undermined Indian history during colonialism, they supported at the same time and the history of the Chinese for strategic reasons.

He said, referring to Western motives in the nineteenth century: “They were afraid at the time that Russia will come and occupy China,” referring to Western motives in the nineteenth century. “If you look at the nineteenth century, for example, the largest defender of China was the United Kingdom and America – especially American missionaries.” Pearl S. Jaishankar emphasized that the photo competition that India faces today starts with “very different starting points”. He added: “I think we have a more difficult job, and therefore we will work more seriously … in the way the world is at the present time, we sleep knowing that the world is in a certain way.”
