after unveil Exit Just over a year ago at The Game Awards, developer Archetype Entertainment showed off the first gameplay of the sci-fi RPG. The trailer features a squad of space mercenaries called the Travelers, several combat battles and one particularly angry bear. Seems like a lot mass effect, This is not surprising given that the studio employs former Bioware developers, along with former employees from 343 and Naughty Dog.

The team revealed this during the live broadcast Exit The film is set in a post-Earth scenario at a time when humans ventured into distant star systems and created new civilizations. That’s not to say it’s all kumbaya, with characters forming alliances and competing for resources to make a profit. The game includes genetically modified creatures like the aforementioned bear, as well as a valuable item called a Livestone created by “Celestials.” It also uses time dilation, so when travelers take a short trip to a star system, much more time may have passed on their home world.

Exit It stars Matthew McConaughey in his first video game role and will be published by Wizards of the Coast, the parent company of Archetype. There’s still no release date, and we don’t yet know which character McConaughey will be playing.
