Up Network, the user-powered AI agent operating system, announced its partnership with DreamSmart to deliver Web3 AI glasses powered by Google Gemini.
This product integrates the latest industrial design, AI capabilities, XR (extended reality), and Web3 incentives, aiming to redefine human-machine interaction and advance the post-smartphone era.
Developed under DreamSmart’s StarV brand, Web3 AI glasses aim to change how we connect with technology. Powered by Google’s Gemini technology, these glasses let you interact naturally — just by speaking — while delivering seamless, intuitive experiences. It simplifies complexity, adapts to your needs with context-aware intelligence, and ensures your data stays private and under your control.
The glasses weigh only 44 grams, or the equivalent of the heavy side of regular glasses. They’re designed for all-day wear, offering up to eight hours of battery life for uninterrupted use.
Featuring an optically guided display, the glasses provide a seamless Extended Reality (XR) experience for productivity, entertainment and everyday tasks.
Google Gemini and other advanced AI clients The glasses provide real-time contextual intelligence, and the companies claim they outperform current offerings from big tech players like Google and Samsung.
Web3 made simple: AI glasses enable Web3 for everyone
Web3 technologies are complex, requiring users to interact with decentralized systems, manage wallets and digital assets, and interface with blockchain-based applications. It has not proven popular among consumers due to complexity.
Through its integration with Up Network, Web3 AI glasses elevate this experience by providing hands-free natural language interaction, with real-time and context-aware assistance, bridging the gap between complexity and accessibility.
The companies said the hordes of AI clients eliminate the steep learning curve and complexities of Web3. By handling tasks collaboratively and intuitively, these agents enable anyone — even newcomers to the cryptocurrency space — to interact with blockchain and AI using natural language.
They use token incentives that allow users to earn by interacting with AI agents, contributing ideas, and participating in decentralized activities. Users own their data as an asset, maintaining full control and privacy through on-device processing and anonymous storage.
The companies said they are creating a privacy-first experience. All interactions are handled securely on the device, ensuring users retain sovereignty of their data without compromising ease of use.
“This partnership with DreamSmart to launch the first Web3 AI glasses represents a huge step forward for Up Network,” Up Network co-founder Devansh Katri said in a statement. “These glasses are not just a device – they are a gateway to the future of decentralized computing and technology, bringing together the incentives of AI, XR and Web3 into one powerful ecosystem.”
Web3 AI Glasses will be available in Q1 2025. Additional details on pricing, in-market availability and exclusive previews will be announced soon.
