UNITEDHELHELTH Group (UHG) is the latest company to publish its website for many of its DEI programs, in a clear surrender of the directives of the Trump administration, which threatened to investigate the companies practicing Dei.
The company has lowered many pages related to Dei and Blog functions, TechcrunchI mentioned. UNITEDHELHELH GROUP was previously transparent about specific measures it has taken towards diversifying the workforce, including “integrating programs that are a variety of workforce societies”, and working with universities for a talent source. In addition to the deletion on Wednesday, a web page described that the company is “committed to diversity, fairness and inclusion”, it changed the language of “diversity and inclusion” to focus on “belonging”.
HR Brew also found that UHG dropped the recruitment page on Wednesday. Although the company still has an accessible blog, it has removed information about the internal training program for the previous disability and recognition that it is the best place to work with the disabled.
It seems that Joy Fitzgerald, the company’s chief diversity official since 2021, has maintained its role, at the time of this report.
Upon reaching the comment, UHG will not say if it changes any of its DEI initiatives, or eliminates the internal training program for disability.
“We comply with the current and emerging laws while seeking to support what is better for the societies that we serve,” the company told HR Brew in a statement. “Our values of supporting a cooperative environment where we deal with each other with mutual respect are still part of our culture and are primarily to expand access to health care services.”
