Staroci had the fifth year of eligibility after participating in the 2021 season when all athletes were granted another year due to the Covid-19s.

On Friday, other Pennsylvania wrestlers talked about Trump attending the event.
“It is a great honor for wrestling,” Josh Bar of Pennsylvania told reporters. “The sport of wrestling is in a place where it needs to grow. It needs life and energy behind it, and President Trump brings it.”
Mitchell Missinbruk told reporters on Friday that, regardless of politics, it is believed that Trump’s presence will help improve the viewer.

“We want to make people watch, right? We want to see the wrestling people. We want people to lead, not only money, but the time of people, and attention is money. So, I think this is great. I think that if it is conservative or liberal, it will be really wonderful,” said Messenbrink. ”

Jordan was the high school wrestling champion and at the University of Wisconsin Madison, where he won the wrestling title for men in the first division. He was later as an assistant coach in the Wrestling Program at Ohio State University from 1987 to 1995.
This is the second time in three years, President Donald Trump attends the NCAA Wrestling Championship. He also attended in 2023 in Tolsa, Oklahoma.
