The administration of US President Donald Trump gave smartphones and computers mutual definitions, including 125 % of the fees imposed on Chinese imports.

The customs and borders of the United States published a late notice on Friday, explaining that the goods will be excluded from the Trump global tariff by 10 % in most countries and much larger Chinese import tax.

The move comes after concerns about American technology companies that the price of tools can rise, as many of them are made in China.

The exemptions also include other electronic devices and components, including semiconductors, solar cells and memory cards.

Some estimates have suggested that iPhone and other electronic commodities in the United States have risen three times if the costs of tariffs are transferred to consumers.

The United States is a major market for iPhone devices, while Apple represents more than half of its sales for smartphones last year, according to CounterPoint research.

It says up to 80 % of iPhone devices in Apple for sale in China, with 20 % remaining in India.

Along with their fellow smart phone giants such as Samsung, Apple tries to diversify their supply chains to avoid excessive dependence on China in recent years.

India and Vietnam have emerged as painters for additional manufacturing centers.

As the definitions are valid, Apple is looked forward to accelerating and increasing its production of the devices produced by India in recent days.

Trump has planned a set of sharp tariffs on countries all over the world to enter into force this week.

But Wednesday, the path was quickly reflected, declaring that it will carry out a 90 -day stand for countries that were struck by the US higher definitions – with the exception of China – which was raised by the tariff to 145 %. Trump said the Chinese identification increase was due to the country’s readiness to take revenge on its tax by 84 % on American goods.

In a major change in politics, Trump said that all countries that did not diminish against the American customs tariffs will get comfort – and only face a 10 % American tariff – until July.

Then the White House said that this step was a tactic to negotiate to extract more convenient commercial conditions than other countries.

Trump said that his import taxes will deal with injustice in the global trading system, as well as return jobs and factories to American beaches.
