Tourists uprooted and imprisoned for weeks on the United States border

“Every day I receive calls from citizens, visa holders, immigrants and travelers,” said David Leopold, head of the UB Greensfelder Migration Group. “There is great concern there … The administration creates a very restricted atmosphere for immigrants and even visitors and tourists.”

The cases that were published for detention and deportation are part of the “more aggressive enforcement” pattern on the border since the start of Trump’s second presidency in January, according to Nour Zafar, the lawyer of the employees of the American Civil Liberties Union.

“The travelers are already in an exhausting position and do not want anything that makes this journey more strict,” said Las Vegas. “People are seriously wondering whether they should travel to the United States, and this is a great concern for the industry.”
