Tom Cruise praises Top Gun Val Kilmer

Tom Cruise praised his star in the best Val Kilmer pistol, who died earlier this week at the age of 65.

After appearing in Cinemacon in Las Vegas, Cruz led crowds at the Colosium Theater in a moment of silence “to honor a dear friend of me, Val Kilmer.”

“I cannot tell you how much I liked his work, and how I thought about it as a human being and how I was grateful and honorable when he joined Top Gun,” said Cruz on Kilmer, who played his competing role in Top Gon in 1986.
