January is traditionally one of the biggest months of the calendar year for Lego in terms of the sheer amount of new sets being released, whether it’s across the brick maker’s strong lines like City, Creator, Dreamzzz, Monkey KidAnd more, to major brands like Disney, Marvel, DC Superhero, and of course Lego star wars On the back of last year’s popular anniversary. But there is a lot more this month beyond that, especially on the gaming front with Arrivals Mario Kart lineand return Classic LEGO Space game. Lego’s adult-focused Icons series is starting the year off strong with some major releases, including the latest model city build, inspired by historic British architecture, and something nostalgic for any classic space fan with the return of the villainous Blacktron. But there are also a few realistic sets, like a luxurious fountain garden display, and a historical replica of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous flying machine design (which, of course, comes with the first-ever Leonardo da Vinci minifigure?).
