The United Kingdom announces a draft bases for the encryption industry, American cooperation

LONDON – Britain published on Tuesday a legislation project to make crying currency, as it promotes greater cooperation with the United States, as it looks forward to organizing the wild world of digital assets.

Speaking at the Fintech event on Tuesday, UK Finance Minister Rachel Reeves announced her plans for a “comprehensive regulatory system for encryption assets”, adding that the proposals aim to make the country “a global pioneer in digital assets.”

The Treasury statement added: “The encryption companies with UK clients will also have to meet clear criteria on transparency, consumer protection and operational flexibility – just like companies in traditional financing.”

The UK Finance Minister met with its American counterpart Scott Beesen last week to discuss a commercial deal. She had previously said that improving trade relations with the European Union was “more important.”

“The regulations must support work, and do not hinder them,” Reeves said on Thursday.

Those familiar with the encryption industry say that the Financial Behavior Authority – the UK’s Financial Services Control Authority – was very restricted when it was related to approving records from digital asset companies.
