The transgender prosecutor says that Trump’s passport is “a basic rejection of my identity”

Will you be able to live without a passport representing who you are?

What was told about the reason for not receiving your passport yet?

My request moved from being inactive to unavailable, when I started reaching the passport agency.

They were telling me that we had no other guidelines for you at this time.

A few weeks later, I received a phone call from a supervisor in San Francisco who was overseeing my request, and I mainly told that I needed to prove biological sexual sexual.

I was told that you will receive something either by email or approved mail explaining what we need most of you.

After about a week of that phone call, I received something in the mail saying that at this time stage, they cannot continue my request until I can prove biological sexual sexual.

Since then, I have not heard anything else, and I have no passport at this moment of time.

How do you respond to what they say there?

When we gather our identities in public places, whether at work or by government agencies, (it) enhances the harmful idea that we are not the one we say.

This nullity affects such mental and emotional losses on our well -being.

We regularly face challenges in accessing basic services. This includes health care, education and legal documents, because these systems are designed to interrogate and buy our identities instead of confirming them.

So the interrogation about our identity in public settings exposes us to the risk of harassment or more violence, whether in DMV offices or TSA offers, or even when using the bathroom. () Increases the risk of discrimination in employment, housing and health care for converting individuals.

When we face the government and institutions that cause doubts about our identities as animated people, they send a broader message that legal recognition of sexual identity is conditional, not a basic right.

There was a lot of anxiety, just a general fear of my safety and the safety of my family.

But also a lot of pride.

I am very proud to be a museum to Western Virginia, and I am very proud to see my name not only for myself, but to the entire transit community throughout the United States.

I have gained a lot of strength, not only from my community, but from those who came in front of me.

Knowing that we are fighting for equality for our society, this really helps me only focus on the ultimate goal here.
