The Supreme Court in Romania adheres to the electoral ban on Georgasco

On Tuesday, the Roman Constitutional Court supported a ban that prevented the right -wing right candidate Celine Georgisco from participating in the country’s presidential elections.

The demonstrators shouted “thieves” while gathering outside the court in Bucharest on Tuesday to support Georgaso, who was leading opinion polls with the support of more than 40 percent of the voters. Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini described the ban as a “European Soviet -style cup,” adding that the Romanians “are stolen by their right to vote with a very serious theft of democracy.”
