Samsung and LG I got a Sony when they announced the new 2025 TVs a few months ago Ces. But now, the latter is attached to the suspended access to three new groups of Bravia, including the pioneering pioneer QD, the LED Mangrange Mini and an updated budget alternative.
Before we enter into the specified models, it is important to note that after renewing the designation scheme for each Home theater equipment last yearSony does not repair it from top to bottom in its entire assortment for 2025. Instead, it offers a handful of new TVs that will replace old models or opening in some of the gaps in its current wallet. This means that Bravia 9 will continue to be the company’s first -class TV, as everything else is located in the queue under that.
This leads us to Bravia 8 II, which you may guess, is an alternative to Bravia 8 and will be the most intelligent TV in Sony. Like Bravia 9, it features the company’s XR processor that supports the technology of identifying the scene of artificial intelligence to help maintain details in difficult scenes. The way it works is that by analyzing your content, the TV can compare what is displayed with a reference library of backgrounds and patterns known to help fill any gaps that may not be fully captured.
I had the opportunity to see this artificial intelligence trick in person, and although the effect is accurate, it makes a difference during the shots that contain a lot of foliage, rocks or other difficult textures. I also noticed that Bravia 8 II showed an improvement in drawing tone maps and more accurate shades, which led to more detailed and realistic images, especially in very bright or dark bullets. Of course, you get these beautiful deep blacks and the excellent contrast that modern qd boards are famous for.
When moving to the bottom of the line, there is Bravia 5, which accurately fills the void between the current Sony 7 and 3 TVs. It features a miniature miniature supported by the company’s Master Drive technology, which provides reduced digital noise and improving contrast. The most obvious example that I saw in this was the complete deficiency of aura or light bleeding when displaying bright things against a dark background. Other important specifications are that the Bravia 5 is available in sizes of up to 98 inches, which makes it one of the largest TVs in Sony (including the leading 83 -inch Bravia).
Finally, we got to Bravia 2 II, where the biggest change is the shift to the full direct LED instead of the Edge Lit panel like the previous model. This provides more vibrant colors in addition to much wider viewing angles of 43 to 75 inches. Like other Sony TVs, its Google TV operating system is running and includes Upscaler to bring old content to 4K. The only main restriction on Bravia 2 II is that it features a update rate of only 60 Hz.
Unfortunately, official pricing will not be available and available to all the new Sony TV until some time later this spring. So, if you are currently shopping for a new group, you may want to stop for another two months.
