During this year’s gaming developer conference in San Francisco, she sat at the first inspection of Den of Wolves, next shooter for CO-OP. It was developed by 10 rooms (which made GTFO), this team, led by creative minds behind the 1st and 2 Payment Day, returned with another theft game. But Den of Wolves varies by inserting a component more than the brain into the areas and obstacles you should face.
Hold our land in a fiery battle
The new game was set in the near future in Midway City, which is controlled by companies on an island in the Pacific Ocean. You play as a rental criminal while storming different sites to steal money, looting and information. It is a similar preparation for the payment day games, but with a more focus on future technology concepts and scientific science.
Our preview session has been divided into three parts, starting from the preparatory mission. These are shorter, about 15 minutes in length, and missions in the den of the wolves where they collect resources and tools in order to be more willing to steal the biggest. Our experimental show was important from four people, and I shared myself and another journalist with two Dev teams. We were assigned to infiltrate a high security wing of the building in order to enter a cellar in the back and steal the various goals.
Drilling in a cellar
We have started in a surreptitious approach, we send and slowly move while using fighting weapons and flourishing over the enemies of different leagues. There is a great technical focus for many of the world and its beauty in the den of the near wolves. This was noticeable when many patrols included the survey units that would freeze and spread an ocean -like ocean of their helmets. We were told that if these counter -claws call our characters, we will be monitored. It was a great visual effect that added more sophisticated to the task.
Using a vibrant shield in a fiery battle.
After a few good tours of infiltration to the former enemies, we were accidentally monitored and we had to go loud. This gave us an opportunity to use some of the tools that we prepared before the task. Specifically, I can send a small tower that shoots anyone in his eyes – a great tool whenever we find ourselves being attacked in two directions. One of my team mates took out a viable shield that would stop the incoming heat – very useful as well. The mixture of tools and firearms was a key where we were drilled in a basement in the back while fighting the enemy waves on our way.
The plans that we set our plans
When extracting the goods, we started the second part of the inspection event, which included waking up from computers that manage the illustration and walk to a material table. In an interesting interactive break where the game turned over real life, one of Devs spread from my team planned for the next task for us. I was told that we will need to storm eight different cellars, looking for two main factors that would open the final main cellar, in addition, we also needed to open the large window in the back as a way to escape. It is clear that this is not part of the game when it is charged, but it was a fun and ridiculous reward for the usual game assignments that I will continue and deserve to participate.
Big show: How a theft decreases in the den of the wolves
The main part of the experimental show was the main task-the actual time theft-which takes about 30-60 minutes depending on the quality of your game and the desire for theft. We started to deliver a bag for the enemy, who was not aware that we filled it with the assassination robots. Once hell erupted, we started to spin around the three -storey room in the clockwise (as I decided when we were planning the plans earlier).
The platform through diving
Our team stormed a couple, one of the drilling in one cellar while the second husband was working in the next. We jumped each other, defending the righteous guards and attacking them when needed to help or the exercises were suspended. After a period of searching for the main cards, we have finally managed to open the main burial that includes the unique play feature of Den of Wolves: Dives. Inside a cellar, the body of the CEO of animation was suspended with their internet -related mind, which we kidnapped, similar to the beginning in their minds to extract information to our president.
The CEO we must dive into
In terms of playing, this means that we had to fight the waves of enemies and move around the map to activate specific tools. Once the diving began, we were distorted to a more similar to science fiction with a short platform department where we had to run through an electronic space full of attractiveness. Jumping from the walls, ceilings and through large gaps. We were at a time, but as long as one of his four colleagues did, we will succeed.
Completing it brought us back to the battle of fire. Our last goal was to fight the head of the theater and steal a lot of looting from cellar as much as we risked us to stay for him. However, all between five to ten minutes or so, our characters will return to electronic space and have to face a new challenge to the platform. This mix of chaotic firearm battle with a fun and unique Parkor Mutawar race. In the end, we had to open a window and rescue when the heat became too much. My 24 team of 25 elements collected theft – a good distance for a person who just picked up the game.
Den of Wolves left a very exciting impression, and even made me want to return and check GTFO, the previously notorious studio game due to difficulty. The developers also told me that their new game would be much easier in order to be more attractive to a larger audience. There is currently no specific release date, but 10 rooms plan to release Den of Wolves early on Steam at some point this year.
