The Red Cross says that the missing Gaza is the paramedic, which is being held by Israel

The International Committee of the Red Cross said that a missing Palestinian paramedic since an Israeli attack killed 15 emergency workers in southern Gaza three weeks ago being detained by the Israeli authorities.

The ICRC confirmed in a statement that it had “received information” that Palestine from the Red Crescent Society (PRCS) was detained by Assad Al-Nassasra “in an Israeli detention location.

PRCS said that Mr. Nasrara “kidnapped the forced forces” by the Israeli forces in the wake of the attack and called for his immediate release.

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) did not confirm his detention. A spokesman said, he was aware of the demand for his existence.

The bodies of eight paramedics from PRCS, six respondents to the civil defense and the United Nations employee are buried in shallow graves on the outskirts of Rafah, a week after their convoy was shot from the Israeli forces there on March 23.

Another PRCS survived and said he was released by the Israeli forces after he was arrested for about 15 hours.

PRCS said the incident was a “complete war crime”, accusing the Israeli forces of “a series of deliberate attacks” on their employees and ambulances while responding to an invitation to help the losses.

He called for an independent international investigation into the accident and for those responsible.

On Monday, the Israeli Defense Army said that the initial investigation indicated that the forces “opened fire due to a threat imaging after a previous meeting in the area, and that six of the individuals who were killed in the incident were identified as Hamas terrorists,” without providing evidence.

The Palestinian Red Crescent rejected this allegation, as the other paramedic has alive.

The IDF initially said that its forces were called “suspicious vehicles” that lead in darkness with the headlights and emergency lights.

But she later said that the account was “wrong” after a video clip was found on the MEDIC RIFAAT RADWAN mobile phone, which was in the same ambulance as the Honorable Lion, that the convoy was using emergency lights.

In a statement issued on Sunday, PRCS said: “The International Committee of the Red Cross has informed us that the PRCS Medic Assad Al-Nassasra is kept by the Israeli occupation authorities.

“His fate has been unknown since he targeted him with other parashes in PRCS in his Rafah.”

He added: “We call on the international community to pressure the occupation authorities to release our colleague, Medic Assad, who was forcibly kidnapped while carrying out its humanitarian duties.”

A PRCS spokeswoman told the New York Times. Mr. Nasasra worked in PRCS for 16 years, and he was married and had six children.

A spokeswoman for the International Committee said that she had informed the family of Mr. Nassra and PRCS after receiving information about his place.

He pointed out: “The ICRC has not granted access to Assad’s visit. The ICRC was unable to visit any Palestinian detainees detained in Israeli detention since October 7, 2023.”

The Israeli army launched a campaign to destroy Hamas in response to an unprecedented attack across the border on October 7, 2023, where about 1,200 people were killed and 251 grooves were taken.

More than 50,940 people have been killed in Gaza since then, according to the Hamas Ministry of Health in the region.
