Opponents of US President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk gathered throughout the United States and around the world on Saturday to protest the administration’s actions to reduce the size of the government, the economy, human rights and other issues.

In the United States, more than 1,200 “hands!” The demonstrations were planned by more than 150 groups, including civil rights organizations, trade unions, and 2SLGBTQ+ defenders of old warriors and election activists. The protest sites included the National Commercial Center in Washington, DC, Capitols, the country and other locations in all fifty states.

The demonstrators attacked the Trump administration’s movements to launch thousands of federal workers, field offices for the Social Security Administration, actually closing the entire agencies, deporting migrants, expanding the scope of protection for transgender individuals and cutting federal funding for health programs.

The gatherings were also held in countries around the world, including the United Kingdom, Portugal, Germany and India.

Musk, Trump’s Tesla and Spacex and X social media adviser, played a major role in reducing the size of the government as head of the newly created government efficiency department. He says it provides taxpayers for billions of dollars.

Watch | Canadian Elon Musk, who supports the apartheid:

Grandfather Elon Musk, the conspiracy and Canadian roots

Did you know that Elon Musk’s grandfather grew up in Saskatchewan? Joshua was the blood, politician and fans of the apartheid. We dug in conspiracy theories that seemed to form his life.

Speaking in Washington’s protest, Paul Osadibi, a lawyer for the US Housing and Urban Development, criticized the host of a labor union, Trump, Musk and others in the administration for not evaluating federal employees in creating “basis from economic security and power of workers.”

He said: “Billionaires and slits are unable to do anything other than profit and power, and they are sure that hell does not appreciate you, your life, or your community.” “And we see that they do not care about those who have to destroy them or those who have to harm what they want.”

In Massachusetts, thousands of people gathered the joint reservation marks in Boston, including “our democracy” and “Inclusion of diversity shares makes America strong. In Ohio, hundreds gathered in rainy conditions in Columbus.

Roger Brom, 66, who is retired from Dilayer Province, Ohio, in the Columbus Rally, said he was Republican Reagan but was suspended by Trump.

“He is tearing this country,” said Brom. “It is just an administration of grievances.”

Hundreds of people demonstrated in the Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, a few kilometers from the Trump Golf Stadium on Jupiter, where he spent the morning in the top club championship. People lined up on both sides of PGA Drive, and encouraged cars to provide slogans against Trump.

“They need to keep their hands away from our social guarantee,” said Artcher Moran of Port Saint Lucy, Florida.

“The list of what they need to keep their hands is very long,” Moran said. “It is amazing when these protests have occurred since he took office.”

The president plans to go to golf again on Sunday, according to the White House.

When asked about the protests, the White House said in a statement: “President Trump’s position is clear: It will always protect social security, medical care and medical aid for qualified beneficiaries. At the same time, the position of Democrats gives social security, the advantages of medical care for illegal foreigners, which will be rid of these programs and crush Americans.”

Activists have organized demonstrations at the country level against Trump or Musk several times since Trump returned to his post. However, the opposition movement did not yet produce collective mobilization such as the women’s march in 2017, which brought thousands of women to Washington, DC, after Trump’s first opening, or the demonstrations of blacks that erupted in multiple cities after the killing of George Floyd in 2020.
