ADP Terma Treatment Company said on Wednesday that companies in the private sector added 155,000 jobs in March.

This number is higher than economists’ estimates for 115,000 jobs and also more than the revised reading in the previous month of 84000. ADP said annual wages increased by 4.6 %, down from the previous month.

“Despite uncertainty in the disguised politics and consumers, the bottom line is: the number of the march line in March was good for the economy and employers of all sizes, if not necessarily all sectors,” said Nella Richardson, ADP, chief economist at ADP.
