Chelsea have made some big mistakes in the transfer market in their time – most notably Kevin De Bruyne and Mohamed Salah – and it now looks like we can add Christian Pulisic to that list.
The USA international struggled to make much of an impression during his time at Stamford Bridge, and in the end it was not a huge surprise when he was allowed to leave and join Milan.

Chelsea and Arsenal are set to agree on a SHOCK deal next January!
At the very least, the Blues could certainly have received more than £20m for Pulisic (fee via BBC Sport), which now looks like a great job by Milan for such an effective attacking player.
Christian Pulisic transfer: Could he now end up at Manchester United or Liverpool?

Pulisic’s value is now likely to rise significantly Transfer market Recently named Liverpool as potential suitors for himwhile Manchester United have also been linked by Daily briefingwho claimed he has now received an asking price of €65 million, or £53 million.
It will be very painful for Chelsea fans if Pulisic ends up back in England with one of their main rivals, but it is certainly easy to see the 26-year-old making an impact at those aforementioned clubs.
Liverpool have Mohamed Salah nearing the end of his contract, so perhaps the former Chelsea man could take his place in Arne Slott’s attack, while Manchester United certainly need to make changes in that department as well.
The Red Devils have been poor this season, and someone like Pulisic could certainly be an upgrade on Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho, who recently missed the big match in the Manchester derby.
Pulisic looked like a reborn player at Milan, and it will be interesting to see if he can have another spell in English football, and if he can perform better than he did last time around.
