The mysterious “C” button from Nintendo is intended for online chatting – with camera as well

The mysterious “C” button on the next Nintendo Switch 2 is to open the game chat online with family or friends.

Microphone chat uses a compact on Switch 2 to record your voice, and you can attach an optional camera to the system to enter your face and expressions in compatible games.

The system can recognize your voice and filter the background noise if someone else is high in the same room.

With the camera, you can insert your video image (with somewhat raw pictures but known) in the game while playing with friends.

In Super Mario Party Jamboree, up to four people in the same room can join one camera.
