American Education Minister Linda McMahon attended Asu+GSV Summit this week, where experts in education and technology gather to discuss how artificial intelligence affects learning.
Speaking on a painting on artificial intelligence in the workforce, McMahon has repeatedly indicated to AI as “A1”, like Slicer sauce.
“You know, develop artificial intelligence – I mean, how can we educate the speed of light if we do not have the best technique to do this?” She said. “I heard … that there is a school system that will start to make sure that the first grade students, or even a year, have the education of A1 every year, starting down in the grades. This is a great thing!”
In the McMahon defense, it does not actually believe that artificial intelligence summarizes “A1”. During the painting, “artificial intelligence” said at first, but it became increasingly less consistent.
“It was not so long ago,” we have the Internet in our schools! “Now let’s see A1, and how it can be useful.”
Amnesty International is a term everywhere that it seems difficult to imagine how one can forget the correct shortcut – it seems as if a professional athlete referring to the baseball in the main league called the “American Football Association”.
Sometimes people mistakes errors. No one is perfect. But this seems to be a greater whiff than usual, especially from the Minister of Education.
