The Mega Millions jackpot is approaching the $1 billion mark after its latest drawing produced no jackpot winners.

Mega Millions plans to hold its next drawing for the $825 million jackpot on Friday night. The chances of winning a nine-figure jackpot are about 1 in 302.6 million.
Fellow lottery Powerball also has a jackpot in circulation, although it is currently much smaller than Mega Millions.
Indiana, Missouri and Pennsylvania are the top states with Powerball winners
The Powerball jackpot was about $69 million before Wednesday night’s drawing. Its cash value was $32.2 million, according to that lottery.
