The US State Department has completed funding to track thousands of Ukrainian children who were kidnapped by Russia, and an American database may have been deleted with information about the victims, according to the message planned by the United States to send to the Trump administration officials on Wednesday.

A group of American Democratic lawmakers formulated a message to the Foreign Minister Marco Rubio Treasury Secretary Scott Payette urges the administration to restore the program that helps to track the kidnapped Ukrainian children.

The administration ended an initiative funded by the government led by the Humanitarian Research Laboratory at Yale University, which tracked the mass deportation of children from Ukraine, which means that researchers lost access to a large amount of information-including satellite images-nearly 30,000 children kidnapped them from Ukraine.

“We have a reason to believe that the data from the warehouse has been permanently deleted. If this is true, then this will have devastating consequences,” said the letter, led by the member of Ohio Greg Landman.

The news of the message came on Tuesday, on the same day that US President Donald Trump spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin, who stopped agreeing to a 30 -day truce in Moscow The war against Ukraine.

A person familiar with the tracking program said that the cancelled Foreign Ministry contract deleted 26 million dollars war crimes.

“They took 26 million dollars of US taxpayer money used for war crimes data and threw them into firewood, including files on all children,” the person told Reuters.

“If you want to protect President Putin from the claim, you are this thing. They did so. It is the final version of the court with all the initial data,” the person added.

The letter also calls on administration officials to sanctions to punish Russia’s officials and its ally Pylaria who participate in the kidnapping of children.

The letter said: “These vulnerable violations are publicly recognized for the rights of children granted under the consequences of demand for international law.”

The Yale University Humanitarian Research Factory has no access to the satellite images needed to track kidnapped children, according to the legislators.

“Our government provides a basic service – it does not require the conversion of weapons or money to Ukraine – in pursuit of the noble goal of saving these children. We must, immediately, resume work to help Ukraine to give these children home,” the letter said.
