The last companion of Pelinda explained

“The Robot Revolution”, the latest “Doctor Who”, the cross show, is a complete chaos. The bad guys are very silly, most jokes do not land, and the social comment that includes Alan (Johnny Green)-his new companion Bellanda Chandra (Farado Cito) his former friend, who revealed that he was the main villain-is evil and stadium. I do not have a problem with “Doctor Ho” mocking a high -ranking men like Alan, but there is more efficiency in the writing section that had come a long way here.

Perhaps the most frustrated part of the “robot revolution” is how Alan defeated: Pelinda presses the testimony of the stars from the past to the star’s testimony from the future; Since the same object touches itself, this creates a time explosion that destroys Alan, but he leaves Pelinda without touching. Why? Since the doctor (NCUTI GATWA) was carrying Pelinda, Time Lord Energy appears to have protected it from the explosion. I mean, certainly, no matter what it works.

Meanwhile, Belinda feels that she is already age. She knows who she has healthy respect for herself. I was impressed by the response (Because who will not be?) Instead, she immediately recorded it in “The Robot Revolution” as a scales, a dangerous person who should not spend much time. Bellinda can help him throughout the episode because she knows she is necessary, but she has no intention to take things further.

Perhaps the most unforgettable moment in the first show is when it indicates how the doctor wipes her DNA without asking. We are used to the doctor, doing things like this so much that it is flammable to see someone telling him no. It is a moment when we ask us to think about the previous cases of the doctor’s neglect, as is the case when he abandons Amy for 12 years (then two others) at the “eleventh o’clock” or when it mistakenly causes her to miss her in a year of her life in “foreigners in London”. No Rose or Emmy made these errors against the doctor for a long time, but Pelinda will do so.

Not only because Pelinda got stronger limits; It also does not escape anything. In fact, most of the companions begin in unhappy life situations, and then the doctor provides them with an opportunity to escape. Bellinda, on the other hand, has already a happy life at home and does not want the doctor to spoil her.

Part of what makes the first episode of Pelinda very interesting, it’s right. We have known the doctor for decades at this stage, but while we can trust him to save today as much as he can, we cannot trust him to be observed. He indirectly got many of the companions who have been killed, and he is always lying about something, and his lifestyle is the semi -smooth time he left with little respect at the time of ordinary humans. He can ignore a public theft of Rose’s life because a year is nothing for him. But a year is a large part of Bellanda’s life, and it is not cold with him messing around.

This means that the best scenario for this season is that the doctor learns to be more honest and cons it. However, the most likely scenario is that Pelinda will reduce its criteria. Unfortunately, it is easy to imagine an arc as she loses some of its self -assertion and respect, allowing itself to sweep the doctor’s lifestyle and allow him to walk throughout (as the doctor does unintentionally in most of his relationships). It is a potential framing of the doctor’s dynamic/facilities-where the doctor is a clear bad effect, and we roast the companion to cut it out of her life.

The closest to this type of dynamic before is with Martha, which allows the doctor to address in a rejecting full season before she leaves its own terms, and it seems that it only earns his respect. The difference is that Martha’s decision was the culmination of the character’s development of the season, while Pelinda makes the same decision in its first episode. The only reason why it is still present next week is that the annoying tardis refuses to return it to the home.

We are used to the doctor who highlights the best in his comrades, but we rarely see him highlighting their worst. It is not clear which direction “Doctor is” will go with Pelinda, but the fact that the descending slide already feels that it is unique. (Jenna Coleman also had a fairly dark arc like Clara, which she saw became like a doctor and death as a result, but that was somewhat late in her race). We had only one episode with Belinda, but it is already a promising companion for years.
