Countries bordering the Indian Ocean are preparing to mark 20 years since the devastating earthquake and tsunami that wiped entire villages off the map and killed about 230,000 people. Although early warning systems and preventative measures have been put in place since the tragedy, the shock of the disaster that occurred on 26 December 2004 still haunts survivors.
