More than 350,000 Canadians faced power cuts in southern Ontario when a ice storm moved across the region during the weekend.

The footage shows trees coated with ice, gardens and homes in Aurelia, a city that declared a state of emergency on Sunday because of the storm.

City officials described the situation as “very dangerous.”
