French lawmakers on Monday voted unanimously in favor of a bill that would allow the government to maintain basic state functions in the absence of a budget for 2025. The Senate will debate the law on Wednesday. Meanwhile, new Prime Minister François Bayrou held talks with political parties with the aim of pulling France out of its political impasse.
