The organizers of the annual Labo Labo Festival in Vancouver in Canada, where a car attack killed 11 people on Saturday, said they were “sad” and “collectively broken”.

The exhausting and emotional RJ Aquino said that the Philippine community left “numbness”, sad and angry after the incident, which the police said was not linked to terrorism.

“We will feel the impact of this for a long time,” he said at a press conference on Sunday.

Maple Elmur, a member of the Legislative Association of British Columbia (MLA) of Vancouve Kinsington, described the local community as flexible and said that he would “meet from this catastrophe.”
