The European Union lists seven “safe” countries as a way to facilitate deportation

Bangladesh, Colombia, Egypt, India, Kosovo, Morocco and Tunisia were included on Wednesday in the list of “safe, established countries” in an attempt to facilitate the returns of migrants, as Brussels face pressure to tighten the rules of asylum. Migrant rights groups have criticized the weakness of asylum guarantees as “dangerous”.
