The display of topics on Bluesky Starter Packs is live

Threads is pitching its take on Bluesky’s Starter Packs concept. Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri About the update explains that groups of recommended profiles will be suggested when users start following topics and as part of the For You feed.

Interestingly, Threads doesn’t seem to have a name for this feature. But this isn’t the first time Threads has embraced an idea that originated on rival platform Bluesky. Custom feeds were the last concept to make its way from Bluesky to to On the social network owned by Meta.

Bluesky is aware of how many of its features are starting to appear on Threads.
