The Kremlin said on Monday that Russia was pressing France because of security measures after an explosion in a Russian consulate building in Marseille, Moscow said it appears to be a terrorist act.
The accident occurred in the city of the French port of the French on the third anniversary of the war of Russia.
A French security source told Reuters that two projectiles had been thrown on the wall of the consulate perimeter in Russia, one of which exploded, one of them exploded,
It was not immediately clear if the projectiles have been wiped. The French broadcaster BFM TV said that the projectiles were Molotov cocktails and that they landed in the consulate garden.
“The explosions on the lands of the Russian consulate in Marseille have all the distinctive features of a terrorist attack,” government news agency Tas quoted a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, as saying.
“We demand comprehensive and rapid measures to investigate, as well as steps to enhance the security of Russian foreign tasks.”
The source added that there were no losses, and all the Russian employees and consul were unattended.
