The death toll continues to rise after a deadly earthquake was rushed to most Myanmar and Thailand on Friday, with some areas with heavier damage in each country. Along with flat buildings, many people lost their lives in 7.7 earthquake size. Many countries have sent help to Myanmar in the wake of the earthquake, including teams from India, China, Singapore and Thailand. British Foreign Ministry told CBS News that the United Kingdom has pledged 10 million pounds, or about 12 million dollars, to help provide humanitarian aid to the people of Myanmar, with a focus on support on the most huge areas. The British Foreign Ministry said that relief efforts are directed mainly towards food, water supply, medicine and shelter.

International agencies also fill in support. The Red Cross said it had resumed more than $ 100 million to help the earthquake victims. The humanitarian group said in a statement that it aims to put money towards helping 100,000 people, through 20,000 families, with “relief and early recovery support” over the next 24 months.

The World Health Organization has sent nearly 3 tons of supplies from its emergency stock in Yangon, Myanmar, to deliver to hospitals in Mandalay and Nepideo. This was part of a wider effort to accelerate tents and shock groups filled with medical supplies of these two difficult cities.
