On Thursday, the Algerian Court sentenced the French Ice Writer Balm Sansal, whose case was at the heart of a diplomatic storm, to five years behind bars. The author is famous for his criticism of the Algerian authorities as well as the Islamists. He was arrested in November and tried him on charges of undermining the regional safety of Algeria, after he said in an interview with the developed right -wing French media that France abandoned the territories of Moroccan in an unfair way to Algeria during the colonial era.
