The American Senator, who traveled to El Salvador, says he was deprived of reaching Kilmar Abrago Garcia

The American Democratic Senator Chris van Holin said on Wednesday that the authorities in El Salvador had deprived him of reaching Kilmar Abrago Garcia, a Salvadori man who was mistakenly deported and held in a notorious prison in the country.

Van Hollen arrived in the Central America on Wednesday to meet senior officials and defending the release of Abrego Garcia, but he says that he told him the Vice President of Salvador Felix Olua that he could not allow a visit or call with Alago Garcia.

His lawyers said that Abjo Garcia, 29, left El Salvador at the age of 16 to evade the gang -related violence. He obtained a preventive order in 2019 to continue living in the United States

No crime has never been charged or convicted, according to his lawyer, who denied the US Department of Justice’s claim that he was a member of the MS-13 criminal gang.

The US government does not claim any power to restore man

The United States Supreme Court directed the Trump administration to facilitate the return of Abu Garcia, after Washington admitted that he was deported due to an administrative error.
