And I’m talking about 33-year-olds!”

Although Nest admits that she would prefer to “date someone younger,” she explains that her ideal partner would be “maybe 10 years younger” at most. “For me, age kind of doesn’t matter,” she explained. “(But) we’re so young, we’re not the same culturally, we didn’t experience the same things growing up, the same music, the same movies. It’s hard to have a conversation. I don’t think anything appropriate is too old.”

“It’s just your energy. It’s basically who you are,” she added.

Although Nest is hoping to find her next big love, she admits she hasn’t ventured back into the dating scene yet and hasn’t been on any dates since her divorce.

“I was asked, and I said no,” she said. “I don’t know. I’m more clear about what I want, so I don’t want to waste anyone’s time. I definitely want to be with someone. I’m doing it,” she continues. “I think life is much better when you’re with someone, but I know it’s very difficult for young people to find people. Imagine how hard it is… I’m 71 years old. That number scares people.”

The reality TV star admitted she is “not sure” if marriage is in her future, but is open to finding a partner who shares a strong sense of “passion” with her.

“Like a passion for something you love to do, something that makes you wake up and want to get out of bed in the morning,” she explained of her dating requirements. “It’s intelligence. It’s being able to talk on the same level. That’s really unique when you start talking to someone, whether it’s you or not, you understand each other at your core.”

In November 2024, Nest shared new details about her unexpected divorce from Turner, hinting that there was more to their split than initially revealed.

During her conversation with Ashley and Ben, Nest shared details about a falling out between her and Turner during one of her visits to Indiana.

“So we were driving from the airport, which took about three hours, and we got close to Jerry’s house,” she recalled. “So I see this open land — I don’t see crops, I just think it’s flat — and I say, ‘Oh, great, you can build townhouses there!'” That’s all I said, and Jerry said, “Oh, so you want to take the farmer’s land from him?” “Note to self,” I say to myself, “don’t say that again.”
