Taylor Swift was “blown away” by a surprise party hosted by Travis Kelce

The singer was reportedly “shocked” and “stunned” by the NFL star’s thoughtful gesture to celebrate Eras’ record-breaking tour.

After a world tour, Taylor Swift plans to take a break from the spotlight to focus on her relationship with Travis Kelce as their love grows deeper.

Swift was surprised by what her friend Kelsey did in her honor. The Kansas City Chiefs held a surprise Eras Tour concert to celebrate the end of their chart-topping world tour.

Apparently, she thought they were just going for an intimate dinner, but she was shocked when she was greeted by guests who were waiting to celebrate her.

A source said Page six That she was “amazed” and that Kelsey “went out of his way” to do that for her and she really liked that.

“Taylor couldn’t have been more shocked when she saw everyone standing there,” the insider shared. “It was the last thing she was expecting and she couldn’t believe that Travis went out of his way to throw her a surprise party.”

“I thought it was very thoughtful and such a nice gesture. It really meant a lot to her,” the insider added.

To put together the event, Kelsey made sure to leave no stone unturned because it was “something he knew he wanted to do” for Swift and had been planning for “a while.”

The source who spoke to the news outlet noted that Kelsey “wanted to throw a surprise party for Taylor because he felt like she deserved a huge celebration after all the hard work she put in.” Kelsey is “so proud of her” and “grateful that he was able to make it happen without any hiccups,” the insider said.

According to Daily Mailthe Super Bowl champion had some outside help putting everything together as it turns out he hired party planner Amanda Carlo for the job.

Since then, photos from the event have flooded social media, with Kelsey’s boyfriend sharing photos of himself with the football star and the mystery blonde.

“Lady. Make it happen, Amanda Carlo,” Kelsey’s best friend Harry Clarke wrote with a sunglasses emoji, tagging Carlo herself on Instagram. “Thank you for organizing this amazing event.”

The party was attended by some of Swift’s close friends and partners, including Ashley Avignoni and Brittany Mahomes, the latter of whom dressed as “Tavis” (Taylor and Travis) with her husband, Patrick Mahomes.

Now that she’s wrapped up her tour, Swift is looking forward to getting some much-needed rest and focusing on her romance with Kelsey.

The “Bad Blood” singer has been on the road for nearly two years, having kicked off her tour in March 2023. She concluded the tour’s final show on Dec. 8 in Vancouver, British Columbia, after which she visibly relaxed.

Swift is reportedly planning to stay in Kansas City with Kelsey. She wants to further their romance after spending little time together due to her busy touring schedule.

“Taylor plans to stay and hibernate (with Travis) for a while,” the insider shared.

Another source added: “They want to do normal things as a couple.” “Taylor and Travis are eager to spend quality time together because (this is when) the nuances about someone’s personality and habits come into play. They will learn a lot about each other.”

The football player paid tribute to Swift’s Eras Tour on an episode of Kelce’s New Heights.

Then his brother and podcast host Jason asked him: “So, how long did it take?” Kelsey responded: “I think it was about two years ago. March of the year we played in the Super Bowl 149 shows. It’s crazy.”

He added: “More than 10 million people in the stands during the match, it’s absolutely crazy.”

Kelsey also acknowledged the tremendous effort that went into behind the scenes: “Shout out to everyone that was a part of this show. Obviously it’s her music, it’s her tour, but this was a whole production, man, this thing.”

Although the 35-year-old wants to get some rest, sources say the singer is already thinking about her upcoming album and potential tour amid reports that she and Kelsey may be moving forward with their relationship very soon.

The second source said: “A lot depends on what happens over the next year with Travis.” US Weekly. “She asked her team to give her one year to see how things go in her personal life.”

The couple are also open to cementing their romance, with insiders saying they “would love to get engaged” but are “in no rush.”

“Taylor feels like Travis is the one, but jumping is not her style,” the insider shared. “This is not the way she does (things). Marriage is a big deal, and she wants (it to be) forever.”
