Suzano is looking to acquire Clearwater Paper to expand its U.S. presence, Valor reported

Brazilian pulp maker Susano (water(Looking forward to Clearwater Paper)CLW) in line with the expansion strategy in fast-growing markets, according to Valor’s Stella Fontes and Helena Benfica report. The authors note that a potential acquisition of Clearwater Paper by Suzano would expand the Brazilian pulp maker’s presence in the U.S. consumer packaging and foodservice market, where it debuted this year with the purchase of two Pactiv Evergreen manufacturers.
