Rob Kroos defeated Joe Coleen 8-3 to win the opening players ’opening event in 2025 in Wigan after Luke Litler lost in the third round.
Cross has already won the Dutch Arrows Master last month and is one of the eight players in the English Premier League arrows, which will continue in Glasgow on Thursday – Live on Sky SPORTS MAIN EVENT and Sky SPORTS+ from 7 pm.
The former world champion was largely faced in the championship championship behind the doors that were closed last year, after he had not won an event since 2023.
“I have been designed for the past four months. I have been hit and missed, but when I find it, I can play some private arrows,” said Cross.
“After experiencing last year (in the players championship championship), it is good to win again. I was sometimes lazy last year, but I was very stubborn and wanted to spend time with the family.
“I never won two titles early in the year. If I can present it when I don’t feel 100 %, this is a typical thing not!”

Cross earlier defeated Rob Owen, Awin Bings, James Hart and Carl Sinide to reach the quarter-finals, overlooking a great intimidation against Jermin and Wattamina to win 6-5, before Andrew Gilding 7-3 defeated the semi-finals.
The 34-year-old raced early 3-0 in the final match, but Colin fought to 3-2. However, Kroos won five of the next six legs to demand a second title on the PDC circuit this year.

Colin has produced his best arrows for 2025 so far on his way to second place in Wigan on Monday.
The man, nicknamed “Rockstar”, surpassed Greg Richie and Sakut Williams in two games, then surprised Litler 6-3 at the end of 32.
