At least six people were transferred to the hospital after the shooting at Florida State University in Talhaasi.

One person was held after the shooting of the University Union of the University’s Union on Thursday, according to CBS News, the American PBC partner.

President Donald Trump said he was informed of the accident at the beginning of a meeting with Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni at the White House, describing it as “a shame, a terrible thing.”

“Our prayers with the FSU family and the enforcement of the state in the state are actively responding,” said the governor of Florida Ron Desantis.

One of the victims who were transferred to the hospital is in critical condition, according to the Talhaasi memorial care facility, with five others in a serious condition.

The university canceled all seasons until Friday, and sporting events were also canceled at the weekend.

The police responded to the active shooter call around midday local time.

Then he sent a warning on alert to students and who on campus “to get shelter and wait for more instructions.”

“One of my colleagues in the classroom got her phone and announced this for the rest of the class,” Ava Arenado told CBS News MIAMI.

It is expected to be briefed later on Thursday.
