Six killed after a helicopter in the Hudson River in New York news

Eric Adams, the mayor of New York City, says a family of Spanish tourists, including three children, was killed in the accident.

The mayor of the city said that six people, including three children, were killed after a helicopter crashed to see the city’s landmarks in the Hudson River in New York City, near the lower Manhattan.

All of them died on a tourist attractions, the pilot and a family from Spain, including two who were transferred to the hospital and subsequently surrendered to their injuries.

“At this time, all the six victims were removed from the water. Unfortunately, all the six deceased victims were uttered.”

The helicopter is separated from the air and shattered upside down in the river between Manhattan and New Jersey Wildi and Issi. It was the latest high -level flight in the United States, after the other recent incidents in Washington, DC and Philadelphia.

New York Representative Grace Meng said on social media that she “has destroyed a deadly helicopter crash in the Hudson River.”

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has identified the helicopter as a Bell 206, a model used on a large scale in commercial and governmental aviation, including viewership companies, TV news stations and police departments. It was initially developed for the American army before adapting to other uses.

The National Transport Safety Council said it would be achieved.

A news video of the crash site showed many emergency boats and police that revolve around a river where the helicopter was flooded.

The accident occurred in the river off the Tribeca neighborhood. New York Police said that the population should expect emergency vehicles and traffic delays in the surrounding areas.

The river is a crowded charging channel and a depth of 60 meters (200 feet) at points.

Over the years, there were multiple incidents, including a collision between a plane and a tourist helicopter over the Hudson River in 2009, which killed nine people and crashed a rented helicopter for the year 2018 offering “open door” flights that fell to the eastern river, killing five people.

A medical transport plane killed seven people when it fell to the Philadelphia neighborhood in January. This happened two days after the US Airways plane and a military helicopter that collided with it in Washington – the most bloody American air disaster in one generation.
