Sentorion Mark Chapman excluded from NZ and Pak 2nd Odi; Replace

Gary Stad stated that Tim Sever will replace Mark Chapman in the team for the second ODI. Stead said the latter’s shape had earned him a place.

“With many new faces in this team, it is great to be able to call a player from Tim’s experience,” said Stead.

“It is in good condition after a great T20 series, and it provides another strong option that is heading to an important match tomorrow.”

Mark Chapman will return to Auckland to start a brief rehabilitation program, to recover in time to participate in the remaining matches of the ODI series, including the third ODI in Bay OVAL on Saturday.

The absence of Chapmann will be a setback for New Zealand. The left mixture has an excellent record against Pakistan across all shapes, with five of the top six degrees T20i and the best ODI degree.

Tim Sefrt joins the team in the wake of his impressive offers in the T20i series against Pakistan, where he led the range with 249 running with an average of 62 years. New Zealand is currently leading the ODI series of three games, after winning the T20 4-1 series.
