Senate report calls US efforts to keep advanced chips away from China and Russia ‘inadequate’

In a letter to Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo on Wednesday, Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut cited news reports that the Russian military continues to obtain components from Texas Instruments through front companies in Hong Kong.
